Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the challenges faced by leaders in implanting a partnership between the schools of Río Piedras, the University of Puerto Rico, and the community. The compilation techniques used were interviews, a written story, and document analysis. The participants were two didactic leaders, two educational leaders, and one community leader, representing the University, the school and the community. One of the challenges faced by the leaders is to promote a joint vision and a mission, include all the actors, assume a shared leadership, and to become agents who motivate and encourage confidence in the institutions and commitment between peers.
