Abstract

Continuous assessment allows the teacher to observe the progress of students throughout the learning process and inform them of their weaknesses and strengths. This continuous feedback turns into an important source of information for both teacher and student, as well as facilitates the introduction of possible remedial actions. This paper presents the views of students on the implementation of continuous assessment in different subjects of the Labor Sciences Degree in the last two years. Through an exploratory analysis, several conclusions are drawn. Students emphasize that the continuous assessment has encouraged greater involvement in the development of the subjects, but suggest that the activities require too much time. The current challenge is to revise the estimates on the time of student work and balancing their distribution according to the development of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).
