Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the practices of human resources management and performance, under the principal‘s perception in small business. A survey was applied to a sample of 321 enterprises in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. The results suggest a relationship between human resources practices and organizational performance, as well as the impact that the incentive schemes have in performance.By submitting a contribution to consideration of the Editorial Board of Fórum Empresarial, the authors attest that it is an original, unpublished work, which has not been nor will be simultaneously submitted to another journal for consideration and publication; that they are responsible for the work carried out and the content of the article; and they have the corresponding copyrights.
