Abstract

Within the framework of the ICT revolution, it is proposed to analyze its impact on Argentine firms, based on three objectives: identification of the level of use of basic ICT applications, the level of decision-making using information systems and the information technology governance‘s focus on the relevance of the functionality of the information systems in the firms. Three dimensions of analysis are presented: the size of the firms, the sector of the economy in which they operate, and the composition of their capital. The empirical map product of this work is of a contribution for the academic field, for the segment of the ICT offer, and for the public sector.
