Abstract
This essay tries to share some conclusions and thoughts of an exchange carried out in August 2015 between teachers from two different continents, but with a common goal: early childhood health education. This meeting took place thanks to the coordinated effort between the Center for Educational Research, University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and the Universitat Jaume I, in Castelló, Spain. It will summarize the principal considerations and conclusions reached during the event, as well as identify common points and difficulties existing in the development of health education in schools in both countries. Nevertheless, this is no more than a first advance for the proposal of possible solutions that may support the implementation of such a program in schools.
