Resumen

Gran parte de la literatura sobre el tema del maltrato de menores y sus efectos sobre el aprovechamiento académico tiende a indicar que los diferentes tipos de maltrato influyen en mayor o menor grado en el comportamiento académico de aquellos que han sido objeto de una o varias de sus manifestaciones. Este estudio analiza la influencia negativa del maltrato infantil en el aspecto académico, tanto en el momento en el que ocurre el maltrato, como las consecuencias a largo plazo que el mismo puede tener.
