Abstract
This paper deals with interpretation in science. Hermeneutics is the science and art of interpretation, and interpretation is the understanding of meaning, either from a text, a behavior or process. Before science classifies natural and social processes, language has made an arrangement. Language organizes our experience of the world, but, conversely, the natural and social world is re-created in the language we use to indicate and express it. The scientific community tries to create universal languages, such as mathematics or the language of chemistry. Nonetheless, science is rooted in everyday language, because it is not separated from it. Language, although conventional, is an ancient work whose ultimate origin is unknown. Scientific theory is a language that refers to some aspect of reality, therefore, it is also an interpretation.
