Abstract
This reflexive essay addresses the challenges and opportunities of offering professional counseling services at one of the largest university counseling centers in Puerto Rico since a state of emergency was declared due to the arrival of the COVID-19 virus. The use of technologies, virtual platforms and the provision of remote professional services have been fundamental in light of this new reality.
