Propuestas éticas de Santo Tomás de Aquino, Immanuel Kant y Sigmund Freud: equidad y justicia en el siglo XXI

Abstract

In this article, it is argued that Saint Thomas Aquinas, Immanuel Kant, and Sigmund would have opposed deregulating the economy because it allows the expression of irrational egocentric and destructive instincts that harms people and undermines society. In that sense, we will examine the corporate misbehavior of the credit rating agencies Standard & Poor’s and Moody’s during the 2007 Great Recession and the integration of the corporate healthcare system into Wall Street’s financial web.
