Abstract

This bibliographical review starts from asking ourselves: What would happen if the development of a pedagogy of resistance is assumed from a general studies and transdisciplinary approach, and with the use of information and communication technologies? How could this contribute to the emancipation of knowledge and the establishment of a critical pedagogy with a view to the development of people who make up a more just, democratic, and humanist society? The vertiginousness of the changes and the uncertainty they generate seem to favor an approach that achieves harmonization between the humanistic culture and the scientific-technological culture to achieve a comprehensive vision of society and the world, education being the ideal setting to achieve this connection. The objective of the bibliographical review was to shed light on these questions, to critically present the subject and to arouse interest in this line of research in the educational field. To satisfy the objective, there was a collection and presentation of the views of different authors on general studies, transdisciplinarity, information and communication technology, critical pedagogy and the pedagogy of resistance, the ties that exist between these matters and the benefit of being able to make these connections in the educational process. At the end of the review by contrasting the information found with our own views, it was possible to identify recommendations for educational action that could promote improvement in the quality of education, the student's relationship with their learning and ultimately the improvement in society itself.
