Abstract
In this research, Enemigo rumor, by José Lezama Lima, is read as a rewrite of central literary motifs of “Muerte de Narciso”. Both of them develop the idea of poet and poetry that promote the Cuban poet ars poetica, and sign the metapoetry as his central axis.
