Abstract
This is a sociolinguistic study about the topics discussed and the language used through bathroom graffiti in some public academic institutions of San Juan, Puerto Rico. It principally proposes that bathroom graffiti is used to express taboo topics, shows characteristics from oral speech, and represents a valuable tool for the empiric study of language. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
