Abstract
Daily interaction with different people, schedule changes and the stress of dealing with emergencies of all types generated in the staff wear not only physical, but also emotional and psychological impact on their job performance. This study examined the levels of stress in the Emergency State of Colima, Mexico, using the model of Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI).The results indicate that most of these executives are at risk for burnout. This can lead to design strategies involved in managing work stress and that aim to develop a sense of ownership of the working group.By submitting a contribution to consideration of the Editorial Board of Fórum Empresarial, the authors attest that it is an original, unpublished work, which has not been nor will be simultaneously submitted to another journal for consideration and publication; that they are responsible for the work carried out and the content of the article; and they have the corresponding copyrights.
