Abstract

This study shows librarian‘s perception about their support to faculty research at University of Puerto Rico System. It came as a request from the Office of the Vicepresidency of Academic Affairs regarding library evaluation. Research support is studied closely by the Association of College and Research Libraries, the evaluator agency for the higher education libraries in Puerto Rico and United States. Results from this study show that the development of an inventory of best practices and a discussion of areas must be improved in order to provide research support. Data collection, by the selected tool, provides an assessment by librarians from participant campuses. All responses are available through the AILC Wiki.
