Abstract

This research expose the links between the specular image with the search of identity and the problem of existence in the drama La imagen del Otro, by Puerto Rican Jaime Martínez Tolentino. The link with the drama by the French Jean-Paul Sartre, Huis clos, will be study, specifically the use of mirror and the image reflected as form to expose the reality of been. In the same manner, the notions of out and inside will be study as opposition between menace and safety in connection with the people who live in them.
