Abstract

From the conference theme, the discussion on libraries and advocacy of action plans to continue advancing the proactive objectives of each of the information centers is extremely important. In general terms, there will be a brief introduction of IFLA's objectives as an international organization focused on Advocacy, its global vision and main strategies. Emphasis will also be placed on the ongoing work carried out by IFLA's Regional Division for Latin America and the Caribbean, of which ACURIL is a member. In this aspect, examples of regional experiences that follow up on the fulfillment of the United Nations 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals will be shown, showing significant progress and above all resilience.
