Abstract

As a result of the pandemic caused by COVID-19, education had to take a new turn. With the closure of face-to-face activities, the way of teaching changed to a distance or virtual modality. To this end, physical education faced a great challenge since in essence it mainly focuses on the development of practical movement skills. In this paper, we present our approach to physical education and the concepts of integrating technology using video as an educational tool. Additionally, we present practical experiences in the physical education class at the Elementary and Secondary Schools of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, during distance education in pandemic times.
