Clearing the Record: The Serial Killer Phenomenon in Puerto Rico

Abstract

In a Puerto Rico where unfortunately a portion of violent crimes go unsolved and with
the recent boom in series and documentaries about crimes and serial killers on mainstream media
and streaming services; it gives food for thought to the idea of whether there are serial killers in
our Society. Going on this premise Dr. Miguel A. Riestra Fernandez in his book gives us two
cases that to his understanding are worthy of being classified as such.
