Abstract
“Spectral vampirism”, in Carlos Fuentes' novels, is a phenomenon of intertextuality structured from the spectral capacity of the characters, the search for immortality and the fusion or transformation, from confinements and solitudes to perpetuate the “immortal body “. However, a transgressive element, based on the definition of “spectral vampirism” is represented in the genre of creators. An example of such transgressions is represented by the character Señora, from Terra Nostra. The transformations studied in the present study reveal that this female character, beyond her transgressions, is represented as a monsters creator that is silenced by the male voices that imprison her.
