Abstract
The axis of this article is the inclusions of themes and narrative techniques that three Dominican writers integrated into the narrative that was developed in the post-Trujillo era. A period of profound political and social changes in the Dominican Republic ir represented in the short stories without forgetting a painful retrospection of the dictatorial past. Miguel Alfonseca, René del Risco and Iván García Guerra are part of a generation of authors who revolutionized Dominican short stories and embodied the social commitment of the artists with their people. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
