Abstract

The present article is a comparative analysis of two tales ("Continuidad de los parques" [Julio Cortázar] and ''El cuento envenenado" [Rosario Ferré]) from the concept of "reader-character", as a character that reads a story and that returns to appear again in the hypodiegetic level. This text emphasizes the description of this character‘s kind in the narrative universe of both texts, and it relates with a strange way of fictional representation that presents implications of fantastic nature.
