Abstract
This critical essay aims at establishing relationships between the interruptions in the literary text of Myrna Casas' play ;El gran circo eucraniano ;, as statements that go beyond the playwright's recently established changes in her writing style since the 80's decade of the 20th century. These will be seen as much more than mere obstacles or changes in the direction taken by the dramatic action. As much more than discontinuances of speeches or stage movements, the interruptions in Casas' text try to hide and, therefore, reflect the lives of the characters and, on many levels, those of the country in which they live. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
