Abstract

When we began to take an interest three years ago in energy consumption and utilization in Puerto Rico, it was rare to find 
people who would concede that this was an important issue. The increases in energy prices since then have totally changed this attitude. have totally changed this attitude. Today, there is even a fear that high that the high prices could sink our economy and put an end to our economic development of the last our economic development of the last decades.
