Developmentalism, Modernization and Revolutionary Change in Peru

Abstract

It is a commonplace to affirm that the type of military government in Peru at this time does not reproduce the historical antecedents of militarism in Latin America and shows, on the contrary, peculiar characteristics and possibilities that, in one way or another, have placed Peru at the center of attention of contemporary political science.
