Contradictions between the city and countryside

          1) The element that distinguishes the political process in Latin American countries is the breakdown of the harmonious relationship between the city and the countryside .After centuries of domination by patterns of rural civilization, the city has experienced, through the ahistory of these countries, a profound internal mutation, and yet its relationship with rural society has been transformed.
