Resumen
Se da por sentado que los padres y madres velan por los mejores intereses de sus hijas e hijos y hasta se asume que en cada situación saben qué hacer y cómo hacerlo casi de manera innata. En algunas ocasiones este proceso conlleva tomar decisiones a favor o en lugar de los hijos e hijas. Algunas de estas decisiones tienen consecuencias mayores para los menores y para las relaciones paterno/materno filiales por lo que los padres y madres no siempre se sienten seguros del camino a elegir o la acción a emprender. A veces no se tiene claro cuáles son los mejores intereses a defender ni hay garantía de que las decisiones tomadas son las correctas. Estos sentimientos pueden deberse a que no se cuenta con un marco de reflexión que permita entender qué comprende el tomar este tipo de acción desde sus inicios hasta su culminación.Citas
