Abstract

The strategic vision of innovative executives in light of the third millennium has given rise to the study of mental models. For this reason, we conducted this research to compare the characteristics of leadership and learning capabilities of business students in different countries. The results suggest that business students of the University of Talca in Chile have attributes of more authoritarian leadership and conceptual and abstract learning, while students at the University of Göttingen in Germany demonstrate learning characteristics more oriented to application and practical experience and a more participatory leadership style.
