Abstract

Qualitatively-oriented research represents a new way of conceptualizing and doing science. Currently, a phenomenologically-oriented paradigm which assumes a multicultural perspective and the acceptance of multiple realities has emerged. These findings constitute a theoretical formulation about the reality being studied. Rather than aspire to meet a set of numbers or a group of topics, these methods aim to construct a theory that enlightens and is faithful to the substantive area of study.
