This issue of Dialogues brings together the papers presented at the commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the death of Dr. Manfred Kerkhoff that the Philosophy Department of the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras will carry out on March 9, 2017. Several the papers refer to the personal and group meetings that many of us had the pleasure of being able to participate with a teacher in the Kerkhoff category. Likewise, the Department in making this commemoration pays tribute of recognition and gratitude to the former professor and director thereof. Philosophy in Puerto Rico was enriched by the life and work of Manfred Kerkhoff among us, a witness to this were several generations who benefited from his teaching and extraordinary encouragement to study and philosophical research. The Puerto Rican Philosophy Society also had a leader in Kerkhoff, a promoter of his activities and a friend who trusted in the talent and dedication of his Puerto Rican disciples and friends for philosophy.
