Abstract

The work aims to contribute to the reconstruction and evaluation of the philosophical, mainly modern and enlightened in the Hispanic Caribbean production. Special attention is dedicated to the work of the Dominican philosopher Andrés López de Medrano logic. Humanist of other thinkers illustrated Cuban and Puerto Rican are valued ideas by their contribution to the enrichment of the philosophical and cultural life in general in these islands, as well as the fermentation of ideas about the claimed independence and social justice.
