Abstract
The Puerto Rican Rock band Alarma is a band founded by rock band manager Melba Miranda. It is the first all-female rock band with original songs in the Spanish language. This all-female group started in 1994 and the announcement to break up the band happened in 2004. They left Puerto Rico in the 90's to present their music in the United States of America. The band Alarma is a female group that broke the stereotypes of their time. For this reason, a study was made about them with interviews and newspaper sources.
