Abstract
The World Organization Assessment Instrument of Health for Mental Health Systems (WHO-IESM) was used to collect information about the health system mind in Puerto Rico. The goal of collecting this information is to improve the mental health system and provide a line basis for monitoring change. This will allow Puerto Rico develop information-based mental health plans with baseline data and defined objectives. will also turn out beneficial to monitor progress in implementing reform policies, providing community services and engaging users, families, and other stakeholders in the promotion, prevention, attention, and rehabilitation of mental health. It should be noted that the data presented only correspond to the population served with public funds, to unless otherwise indicated.
