Abstract

This paper aims to show a content analysis of the Ley de Transaparencia (Chilean Transparency Act) and it application on the websites of some Chilean Public Areas related to social sectors. It was prepared done using a model of Rios Cázares y Cejudo (2013), developed from the properties inherited from the idea of open government. Such model has been applied to the direct observation and analysis of websites of public entities from social sectors. This, with the purpose of moving forward in the understanding of the actual effects of the open government to contribute in the optimization of the dialog and relation between the public administration and the citizens. This paper suggests an important advance in front of the transparency and the access to public information.
