Los testamentos de Bayamón en el siglo XIX

Abstract

This article examines the wills from citizens of the city of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, during 19th century to identify their social and cultural characteristics. The author‘s initial expectation was that the wills were mainly prepared by people from upper social class. However, wills primary came from middle class people. Meanwhile, little amount came from low class people.
