María Got Covid, What a Disaster!

Abstract

The exhibition #DeSastre, a visual reflection on the historic events that Puerto Rico has undergone over the last three years, came to an end on March 28, 2021. According to the necessary security measures implemented to control this historic pandemic, Yolanda Velázquez presented an unusual series of works, in which the topic of disaster, in its different connotations, imbued the exhibition space, the materials she used, and the visitors themselves.
