Abstract
Last summer of 2017, the fourteenth edition of Documenta, one of the most internationally recognized contemporary art events, was held for the first time outside of Kassel (Germany), sharing headquarters with the city of Athens. The curators sought to shift the attention of the event to the Greek capital, evidencing the profound economic crisis that drowned the country and the pulse it maintained with Germany for the payment of a suffocating debt. The parallels with the current situation in Puerto Rico are, then, evident.
