Abstract
Isabel Stünkel, curator of Egyptian art at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, recently visited Puerto Rico at the invitation of the Department of Humanities at the UPR-Mayagüez. As a result of this stay, Stünkel talks about her academic beginnings in ancient history and archeology, commenting on her work on expeditions carried out in the Egyptian town of Dahshur.
