Abstract
Tótem telúrico [Telluric Totem], one of the most emblematic works of Puerto Rican art of the 20th century, was created twenty-five years ago. On the occasion of this anniversary, the artist, Jaime Suárez, talks about the opinions and myths that have arisen around such a significant artpiece. He also makes comments on the opening ceremony for the artwork, and the problems around its future conservation.
