Abstract

luminaciones profanadas [Desecrated Illuminations] is an exhibition by Cristina Lucas, which includes several videos and photographs, the common thread of which is art itself. The exhibition is an invitation to question the figure of the artist, the act of creation and the work of art. Underlying such questions is also a feminist approach to the role of women throughout art history, their images, and their narratives.
