Y No Había Luz, or the Integration of the Arts

Abstract

The concept of "arts integration" is evident in Puerto Rican artistic group Y No Había Luz. Their members combine diverse artistic manifestations with great harmony, such as theater, plastic arts, masks, puppets and cabezudos [oversized headed figures], dance, music, and cinematography. The group shares great energy and creativity with the audience, in full aesthetic enjoyment.
