Abstract

The International Symposium "The Contemporary Image: From Symbolic Space as Hegemony to Symbolic Space as Problematization" has been one of the Education Program‘s summit projects for the 4th Poly/Graphic Triennial of San Juan: Latin America and the Caribbean. The relevance of this event, in the framework of cultural life of Puerto Rico, also expresses deep contradictions.
