Abstract

Pedro Vélez has recently been the artist in residence in Área: lugar de proyectos. With this prolonged stay in Puerto Rico, the artist and art critic reflects on the experiences lived as a result of working out of his native island, on the nature of his work, and on the process of exhibiting at the Whitney Biennial, in the Whitney Museum of American Art.
