Abstract

Flora: An Encounter with Agustín Stahl‘s Watercolors is a series recently created by Rafael Trelles, consisting of twenty drawings in which the artist creates a tribute to the more than seven hundred watercolors made by the Puerto Rican doctor and scientist Agustín Stahl. Contemporary drawings and centuries-old watercolors face each other, exchanging perspectives on the Caribbean plant world.
