Abstract

The study describes a basic concept for the comprehension of the persistent problematic between the other and the ego. It begins analyzing the contemporary positions, the complex conceptions and the dimensions, in connection with processes of recognition (I-You) such as the instant and distant relation. It focuses in the way alterity produces manifestations of alteration or distorted ego based on the discrimination of the other one and the distortion due to autarchy of the I, without leaving aside the presence of a functional and harmonious alterity. The result is an innovative epistemic syntagmatic interpretation of otherness that will produce a new position of reflection, action and evaluation.
