Abstract

In this paper I intend to present some considerations and distinctions related to the problematic relationship between the victim and the logic of ressentiment. I want to bring up the importance of establishing links between these two signifiers to expose some of the forms of its representation, its possible limits and potential. The text pretend to be a dialogue between two possible outcomes that lies in the realm of ressentiment. First; as a possibility to overcome the position of victim and second, as a symptom of the impossibility to move on in the context of extreme violence. For this last response, I discuss the claim of Jean Améry on ressentiment.
