Abstract

Glyphosate [n-(phosphonomethyl) glycine] at 1%, 1.5%, and 2% vfv effectively controlled Paspalum virgatum, Sporobolus poiretti, Paspalum conjugatum, and Sida rhombifolia in pastureland in four separate locations. Effective control was also achieved with a roller applicator and a Walk-a-wick applicator at concentrations of 14.3%, 20%, and 33% vjv. There was no harmful effect on the pastures when Glyphosate was applied as a directed spray.
