Abstract
A brief account of the initiation of periodic observations and reports on the more important and injurious insects in Porto Rico in cooperation with the Insect Pest Survey office of the United States Bureau of Entomology. Faunal studies, both past and present are referred to and methods of collecting and recording Survey data are described. The objects of an Insect Pest Survey and the benefits to be derived from such work, both local and international, are suggested.Downloads
