Abstract
Results of preliminary studies indicate that given adequate drainage, fertilizers and good crop and soil management, Guyana's agriculturally poor Anira peat #20 and Inki clay #100 can produce yields of 2.0 to 2.4 tons/ha of excellent quality soybean seeds. Despite the extreme acidity, nodulation was satisfactory in both soils. Effects of residual vs. supplemental additions of NPK on successive crop yields are discussed.Downloads
