Abstract
Based on Hegelian philosophy, where processes need appearance for being essential to essence, the author first makes a distinction between the mere appearance (Shein) of appearance in the sense that it is synonymous with showing (Erscheinung). The intention is to approach the artistic sensitivity as a significant sum that is felt in others immediately and currently. She also explains that art reveals the possibilities of identification with the whole or the idea. From this, it is concluded that the necessary reference of the subject's appearing and of the philosophical concept of "Gestalt", completes the Hegelian theory of art as a field of realization of appearing.
