Toward a Theory of Moral Reasoning

Abstract

In this article, the author attempts to provide the basis for a non-deductive theory of moral reasoning. In the process, he clarifies certain related conflicts that have become standard, although, as he says, it is not an entirely palatable one for the moral philosopher.
